Description: Academic background: Ph.D. (botany) and M.S. (forest ecology), Univ. of Idaho Research interests: I am interested in the species delimitations, distribution, and nomenclature of Sisyrinchium, primarily the North American section and also work with local agencies documenting the introduction and distribution of new weedy species in Minnesota. I currently am the state reviewer for the Flora of North America, a member of the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections and the American Association of Museums, and am a contract botanist for the U.S. Forest Service (regional office) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (wetlands unit).
